I had seen the issues with the mounting solution for the 212 Evo but when the V2 version came out I decided it should work well on both this existing system and on a later AMD AM4 upgrade planned sometime next year. I needed an upgrade to an older I5-6500 rig with a stock Intel cooler that would easily hit 100C and throttle on any CPU intensive benchmark.
